Information on REGOS
 
The Central Register of Insured Persons (hereinafter: REGOS) is an institution established by the Regulation on the Establishment of the Central Register of Insured Persons adopted by the Government of the Republic of Croatia (“Official Gazette”, nos. 101/99 and 83/12). Its fundamental competence and basic duties are regulated by the Act on the Central Register of Insured Persons (“Official Gazette”, no. 159/13).
 
The basic activities of REGOS are collection and processing of data on insured persons and other persons; linking of data on calculated contributions for pension insurance on the basis of individual capitalized savings (II pillar) and the contribution for pension insurance on the basis of generational solidarity (I pillar) with the data on the respective payments; management of single accountancy of the compulsory pension fund members' personal accounts; transfer of total assets of the fund’s member from closed personal accounts to legal receivers; keeping the Register and reporting; electronic exchange and delivery of data from the Register to institutions in the social security sector at national level; electronic exchange and delivery of data collected from the institutions of the Republic of Croatia in the social security system at EU level and performing tasks of access point for electronic data exchange with institutions in the social security system.
 
REGOS continuously improves its business and information system (IS REGOS) with the aim of carrying out its business activities. As public service for citizens, REGOS is entirely focused on employers, insured persons and other users, and continuously tailors its activities to their needs.
 
REGOS applies modern information solutions needed to conduct business processes, as well as to unify and exchange data with all subjects in the business environment. Upgrading the electronic document delivery system with new functionalities enabled the development of electronic services provided by REGOS to citizens and entrepreneurs.
